Jack and Katrina's Place

Earlier this month (1 December) we travelled up to Auckland to celebrate the marriage of Guy's Uncle Rob to Krista, quite possibly the bravest woman in the western world. I know this because I used to have to wake up with a grumpy snoring Rob when we were boys, and it's scary bad! Anyway they had an awesome wedding, in the forest on the slopes of the Waitakere ranges. Guy enjoyed running around on the largest expanse of flat grass he has seen since he learnt to walk in Wellington. He had a great time playing with his older cousins, and Rob's good friend Chong did a great job of marshalling Guy in and out of the various photos, and stopping Guy from running off into the forest to hunt bears. Guy played and ran and laughed until he literally couldn't stand up anymore and had to be taken home, crying, 'Sore legs' all the way. On the Saturday morning before the wedding we went for an hour or so bush walk to to the Fairy Falls, which might have had something to do with it too. Here are some photos of us at the falls.
