Mid Winter

There hasn't been a lot of blog activity lately, and I just checked and there haven't been a lot of good photos this last month. It has been winter, the shortest day and all, so it is often dark when we are home with Guy and indoor artificial light shots are seldom very special. We have also all had turns at being sick. Guy's nose was running so much the end of it got raw and red from being wiped although we were as careful as we could be with soft tissues. He actually got quite good at pulling tissues out of the box and scrunching them to his nose while blowing through it like a little piglet. He actually got too good at it and enjoyed just pulling the tissues out of the box.

But after two weeks of that and coughing and going to the doctor for an ear infection too, he came right on the weekend of the shortest day. We knew he was feeling himself again when he ate a whole cup full of porridge for breakfast, and then later sat down with Katrina for a 'second breakfast' the little hobbit! (picture above). His vocabulary is expanding daily, he asks now for 'more' , says 'milik' (milk) and meelo (for drinks of Katrina's milo) He has also started to say two syallable words, 'Aarnee'(Annie the coach) 'Percy' (the engine) 'purple', 'turtle' and 'munkee' being quite obvious. Anyway here he is with his favourite trains, and helping vacuuming, partly dressed, Freddy Mercury style. His hair has been getting longer too, and Katrina found time to put it up in a little pigtail,,,,hmmmn.
