A New Day

Looking through last nights picture posts they got a bit out of order, a dial up modem, 20 hours awake, and barely enough computer skills will do that. The ones of guy in a towel, mum and dad in silly blue berets came first. For a few hours they kept Katrina in the recovery room, and then kept her a bit longer until they could find her a bed. That's when the nurse helped us dress him. By late afternoon both Mum and Bub were feeling a lot calmer. Katrina needed a few voltarens, but then she felt good enough to swing her legs out of bed and hobble over to a new bed. They took the drip off her and she ate hospital dinner, mmm. Guy had a couple of good feeds, and sleeps, which is when we took the rest of the photos.

About to head down to the hospital, I feel like a seabird and it's my turn on the nest! I think I might also go to Technical Books and see if they have plans for kites, all small boys in wellington should have kites (to develop upper body strength!) and then there's sandpits, train sets and model boats to build!
Comments:
Handsome Guy! Welcome to the world! You and Katrina look so happy too. Can't wait to hear all about it when we get home from Oz. Love Kathy, Paul & Benjamin
