1st Day of 2010
The Sunset at Hanmer Springs, looking Southwest along the edge of North West Arch. Just before this photo was taken, Two Air New Zealand ATR-72s reported severe turbulence as they climbed out of Christchurch. It was a big sky both ominous and inspiring.
The Best of Christmas
The first half of this year has been busy, and seen some significant changes for us, and one result is there has been too much happening to do single blog. Nontheless here are some photos of the good times we had over Christmas. Fields of flowers being reiased for seed near Rakaia, the old trains at Ferrymead, staying with our friends Barnaby and Rachel on their lovely rural property with ponies and chickens, and then camping at Hanmer Springs, beneath an awe inspiring sunset on the 1st day of 2010. I suspected it was a sign this year was going to be a big one!
