Tumbling Tots & Daddy is back

Guy and Mummy go to Tumbling Tots every Monday morning and Guy has learnt some great agility skills. At the end of the term the participants all get certificates, as you can see Guy was really excited to get his one!

Jack brought home a diesel train from Fargo, North Dakota for Guy and he was very excited to see it

We're back!

Hello all. It's been a long few months for us with life being rather more busy than usual. Almost as soon as Jack touched the ground after his last trip to the USA he started working on an epic piece of research for the NZ aviation industry. This has resulted in a 36,000 word report that has taken many hours of work time and evenings to get the job done. Katrina's job has been no less hectic now that she is working full time again and we had just had to batten down the hatches and get through these few months. This is why there has been no blog action in the last few months.

To recover from the above, Margaret has come to help us out which has meant that for the first time in several months we have some time to do a blog! Quite a few photos in our back-log archives to post so we'll start with a selection of our winter faves.....

We took Guy to the "Old Duffers Club" where Guy was the youngest person there by about 60 years so that he could see the traction engine. Although Guy is utterly obsessed with trains almost to the exclusion of everything else, he is quite keen on Jack's methlated-spirits driven model traction engine. This traction engine is from Southbridge, the closest settlement to where Guy's Grandad Pat lives.
